Holiday cottages in Cervelló

The beginnings of Cervelló go back to the 10th century. Although agriculture was one of its main economic activities, currently the industrial sector is its economic base. The manufacture of glass and silk stands out. There is also a strong presence of wine cellars and cavas.

One of the most important historical buildings in Cervelló is its castle. It was built in 904 and the remains of the walls and the chapel remain. If you want to enjoy nature, you can take a route that reaches the mountains of La Peña Roja and Rovires, from where you will have very good views of the town.

The church was built in the 11th century. Its style is Romanesque and it has a large nave with a cruise. It is declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest and its state of conservation is very good. One of its most relevant events is the Aplec de Sant Ponç, where there is a sardana ballad and outdoor lunches.

The Rondel wineries were founded in 1949. They are one of the most important wineries in Catalonia. Its central nave of more than two thousand meters stands out, with arches that are inspired by the Barcelona Shipyards. Once the visit is over you can taste some of their cavas.
