The beginnings of Santa Coloma de Cervelló go back to the Iberian period, given that remains of settlements have been found in the area. Basalt stone was used in its construction, which gives it an ancient appearance. Inside you can see abstract design stained glass windows and other innovative elements that Gaudí would later use in the construction of the Sagrada Família.
