What can you do in Bagà and its Holiday cottages?

Bagà is surrounded by places of great beauty. Taking a route to Gisclareny you will find the Romanesque church of Sant Joan de l'Avellanet. During the tour you will see the local flora and fauna. If you like ornithology there are hides from where you can observe the birds. It is also worth visiting the Pont de la Vila, an ancient medieval bridge of great interest. In winter, ski lovers can practice mountain sports on the alpine ski slopes of Coll de Pal.

Discover the historic center

Walking around the streets of Bagà you will see an important medieval heritage. Plaça Porxada and the sector of the walls where the Portadella tower is stand out. Very close by is the palace of the barons of Pinós, where there is an exhibition about the Cathars. On the outskirts of the town you will find the sanctuary of Paller, an 18th century building that houses a baroque altarpiece.

Take the Wind Horses route

If you want to discover every corner of the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park , you must do the Cavalls de Vent route. This itinerary lasts between three and five days and can be done in less than 24 hours. During the route you will pass through eight mountain refuges and also through oak, pine and beech forests. For lovers of mountaineering, you can go up to the peaks of La Tosa at 2537 meters of altitude or the Penyes Altes at 2279 meters.
