El Querol Vell has been converted from a rural hotel to
rural tourism accommodation, keeping the charm and essence that characterises it, where the wooden architecture and original structure of a typical Pre-Pyrenean house predominates. It is located in
Borredà, a small rural town in the north of the Berguedà region, surrounded by mountains, natural pools and great natural wealth where you can practice any outdoor sport. The location allows access to the ski slopes of La Molina and Masella in one hour, the Baells reservoir in 20 minutes and the cities of Berga and Ripoll in 30 minutes.
The property is distributed in several indoor and outdoor environments, creating common spaces and rest areas for a whole group. Accessed through the main entrance, there is a large double bedroom suite with bathtub, bathroom with hydromassage shower and fridge (the kitchen is not operational). At the reception there is a work space with a nice desk and a courtesy bathroom, and from there you can access the
dining space, designed on two levels and with direct access to the terrace and the large industrial kitchen, fully equipped to prepare the best meals. On the other side of the kitchen and after the living room with fireplace, there is the
games and entertainment area with a pool table, table football and table tennis, as well as a courtesy bathroom with washing machine.
From reception and going up to the first floor there is a beautiful hallway with
3 double en-suite bedrooms: on bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with shower, a double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a double en-suite bedroom with hydromassage shower and fridge (the kitchen is not operational). On the second floor, with a second beautiful hallway and direct access to the outside of the house, there are
3 double en suite rooms: a room with a double bed and bathroom with a hydromassage shower, a room with a double bed and a bathroom with shower and a large triple suite with a double bed and a single sofa bed, bathtub, bathroom with shower and fridge (the kitchen is not operational).
From the kitchen, where there is access to the outdoor terrace and the playrooms, you can access the first floor where there are
2 bedrooms and a shared bathroom with hydro massage: a triple room with a double bed and a single bed and a room with a double bed. On this same floor, there is the
large living room with sofas, TV, fireplace and magnificent exterior views.
The exterior of the house is an oasis of peace and tranquility, distributed in two spaces on both sides of the house. From the main entrance of the house, you can access the lower garden with several rest areas with three pergolas and wooden benches, under the shade of majestic trees. In this garden there is also a large
terrace with barbecue and a long table to enjoy meals outside with the whole group. On the upper level you can enjoy the
beautiful salt water pool with a view of the mountains, wooden rocking chairs under the shady corners and
two covered terraces where you can enjoy the best sunsets and have long conversations. The town has public sports facilities such as a paddle court, tennis court and multi-sports court a few meters from the house, we recommend consulting the website of the Borredà town hall.
