Mas Mascaró is a restored 16th-century farmhouse located in the peaceful hamlet of Planils, in the
municipality of Corçà. Its rural and serene surroundings are perfect for unwinding and enjoying the calm,
surrounded by forests, fields, and other farmhouses. Despite its relaxing location, it is well connected: just 5 minutes from the town center, 15 minutes from La Bisbal d'Empordà, and 30 minutes from Pals beach.
The property owners reside on-site with a fully independent and private entrance. Additionally,
staff work in the garden and farm area with separate access, ensuring a quiet and discreet stay for guests.
The house consists of two connected houses: the
large main house where there are all the common areas and four bedrooms, and the apartment which has three bedrooms and an auxiliary kitchen. Both homes have access from the outside and are connected by an internal staircase. Entering through the inner courtyard, from the hall of the house, you can access the magnificent games room, equipped with a three-cushion billiards and a table football.
The first floor of the main house,
decorated with great taste and preserving the rustic essence of the original house, has a large dining room, an old kitchen perfectly preserved and equipped with a fireplace on the floor, a living room with fireplace, TV and access to a covered terrace where you can enjoy moments in the fresh air. Around the dining room are the four bedrooms: two bedrooms with double beds, one of them with a private bathroom with shower; a double room with two single beds and a triple room with a double bed and a single bed (they are two rooms together separated by a door) with access to a shared bathroom with bathtub. This same floor has a second common bathroom with shower and washing machine.
From the kitchen, going up the stairs, you can access a small living room with sofas and a fireplace (not operational) from where you enter the upper apartment, a
completely renovated and more modern room, preserving the architecture and characteristics of the original structure. This apartment consists of a large living room with fireplace, dining room and kitchen (kitchen not operational, only basic equipment) in the same space and a beautiful semi-covered terrace, ideal for seclusion and enjoying you are in privacy. The apartment has three double bedrooms and a shared bathroom with shower: one with a double bed, one with two single beds and a suite room with a double bed and private bathroom with shower. The house is heated with
electric radiators and ceiling fans. The apartment is heated with
underfloor heating and air conditioning.The exterior of Mas Mascaró is the protagonist of the estate, with multiple open and spacious spaces for everyone. The inner courtyard of the house, characterized by stone, is the
porch with the barbecue, a space with a large hand-made wooden table to eat alfresco together. Going outside the building, there is a porch with chill-out sofas and views of the garden and pool. The
salt water pool is the heart of the garden, from where you can see the large vegetable garden that the family grows and the
farm space where there are chickens and sheep. At the entrance to the property, next to the parking area, there is a huge shed with two gates, an ideal space for practicing sports with good company. The house also has a private bicycle garage with specialized tools and equipment (available and free on request).
