Mas la Catedral

Mas La Catedral is a Catalan farmhouse from the medieval period located in
Cogolls, on the outskirts of
Les Planes d’Hostoles (La Garrotxa). It is situated in a privileged setting, at a high point in the valley within the Garrotxa Natural Park, surrounded by green fields and very close to the impressive natural pools.
The
interior of the farmhouse has been
refurbished and decorated tastefully, perfectly combining original elements of
stone, wood and metal with details from the 60s taken from old renovations. The result is an
authentic, welcoming space with a lot of character.
On the
ground floor, entering through the main door, there is a
living room with television, a
kitchen fully equipped open to the
dining room with fireplace, and a
double bedroom with a modern private bathroom.
On the
first floor, there is a very kitsch-style
shared full bathroom, a small hallway leading to a
double bedroom also with its own private bathroom, and finally,
two interconnected double bedrooms. These last two bedrooms can either stay connected or use separate access from the
chill-out terrace to maintain privacy.
All rooms in the house have
air conditioning and heat pumps to ensure maximum comfort throughout the year.
Access to the swimming pool is at the front of the house. Mas La Catedral has an
indoor heated swimming pool equipped with a
waterfall jet and a
small integrated bathroom, ideal for relaxing and unwinding.
Outside, green is the dominant color. On one side of the house, there is a
small football field with two goals, an area with a
brazier to enjoy the fire and
spectacular sunsets, and a courtyard with a
gas barbecue,
ping-pong table and a
covered porch for sharing outdoor meals with unbeatable views.
Access to the house is via a
private path, which is closed off by a fence during the summer months to restrict vehicle access due to the influx of visitors to the natural pools. Guests of the house can access it freely by identifying themselves as such.
