Mas Casanovas is a fully restored 17th century farmhouse located
on the outskirts of Argentona, surrounded by nature and
less than 15 minutes from the beaches of Maresme. A peaceful and privileged environment to disconnect from the routine,
just 30 minutes from the city of Barcelona.
The owners live on the same estate, in a completely independent building with its own access, which guarantees maximum privacy for the guests.
From the entrance of the estate, a dirt road surrounded by vegetation leads to the house, anticipating the feeling of tranquillity that defines the whole environment.
In front of the main entrance is the covered
barbecue area and the
outdoor dining area, under the shade of the mulberry trees, an ideal space for lingering over summer meals.
On the
ground floor or main floor, there is a living room with an imposing fireplace —currently only decorative—; a large
dining room with direct access to the barbecue area; the old wine cellar, which retains some original features, dominated by a pool table; two guest bathrooms, the
laundry area with a large pantry with plenty of storage space; and a
fully renovated kitchen that maintains the original essence and charm, with access to a small outdoor porch. On this same floor there is also a
triple bedroom with a full bathroom and a large
living room with a fireplace and television, with direct access to the garden and a "secret" door that connects with the
cellar-pool room, worthy of an Agatha Christie novel.
On the
first floor there is a
living room with a desk;
four double bedrooms;
two full shared bathrooms ; and
two triple bedrooms, each with a private bathroom.
On the
second floor there is a last
triple bedroom, also
with a private full bathroom.
One of the main features of the exterior of Mas Casanovas is its extensive
garden, which completely surrounds the house and is organised into different spaces designed for the enjoyment of all members: an outdoor
games area with
football goals and a
volleyball net;
children's area; several spaces equipped with tables and chairs; and a large
outdoor parking area.
The other main feature of the exterior of the house is the large
swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers and parasols, located in front of the main entrance of the house, offering open views that invite you to enjoy the landscape and the tranquillity of the surroundings.
The house also has a
closed garage with direct access to the interior via stairs. Inside the garage there is a
games room equipped with
ping-pong and
table football.
