In the heart of the pre-Pyrenees, between the districts of Osona, Ripollès and Garrotxa, is Mas Arxer, a
17th century rural house fully restored in a unique, natural setting, with enchanting views. The house is located in the municipality of Vidrà, which can be reached along a path surrounded by mountains, lush forests and pastures of native cows.
Mas Arxer has a unique style, combining
the original stone, iron elements and a lot of manually worked wood, achieving a special charm of a forest cabin. The layout of the house has been thought out for the convenience of a large group: on the ground floor there is a large
fully equipped and open kitchen which leads to the large dining room. Next to the dining room there is a spacious living room on different levels, adapted to the layout of the house itself, equipped with a fireplace and TV. This same floor also has a second living room and a double bedroom with a private bathroom.
Climbing the impressive and artisanal wooden stairs, there are
two lounges with a second fireplace and a rustic and original style. On the first floor there are
four double bedrooms, all with private bathrooms.
On the second floor there are
four bedrooms, all with their private bathrooms: two double rooms and two triple rooms with a double bed and a single bed.
The whole house has central heating and is perfectly insulated to maintain an optimal temperature all year round.
The exterior of the house is its great complement, a
landscaped area that loses itself in the views of the Milany and Santa Magdalena mountain range. Next to the house, there is a large porch equipped with a long table for meals with the whole group, a cold kitchen and the
large barbecue with a wood oven. Behind the porch you will find the old hayloft, now transformed into a
games room equipped with a pool table, ping-pong table, foosball table and darts. The
pool completes the space to enjoy the peace and tranquility that the house, built with stone and integrated into the environment, transmits.
