The current municipal term is formed by the union of the Aguda and Ribelles castles. The two buildings are the main attractions of the two population centers. Walk between medieval buildings

Around Vilanova de l'Aguda you will see different religious temples of great interest. The church of Santa Maria stands out, a building from the 17th century. Very close by are the remains of the old castle and the hermitage of Sant Miquel, a primitive Romanesque temple from the 11th century. In Ribelles you will find the mausoleum of the barons of Ribelles or the hermitage of the Virgin of the Escoplet

In a good part of the territory of the term there are forests of pines, oaks and oaks as well as a unique fauna.
