One of the most emblematic buildings of Vallromanes is the medieval castle of Montornès. It is a building that is documented from the year 1108 and of which the fortification wall, the circular plan and part of the master tower are still preserved. Very close to the castle is the Tavernera tower, a fortified farmhouse with a facade decorated with six ceramic panels.
