Sorry, but we don't have any accommodation near Unha
The history of Unha dates back to medieval times. Its stone houses have a typical Aranese mountain architecture and are in a very good state of conservation. One of the town's most emblematic buildings is Casa Forta. It was built in 1580 and is very unique. Its old defensive bastions and a small cellar stand out.
The Romanesque style has left a clear mark on Unha. In the church of Santa Eulària you can see a basilica plan with three naves. This building stands out for being the only one in the Vall d'Aran that still retains Romanesque wall paintings inside. Paintings from the 16th century have also been found in which a whole series of biblical episodes unfold. Another very important element that you must see are the baptismal font and its decorative elements.
One of the main attractions of Unha is the snow. Precisely in the Museu de la Neu you can see different thematic rooms related to snow and how it has affected the history of the town. If you like winter sports there is a section dedicated precisely to snow sports where you can see how skiing started in the Vall d'Aran as well as the latest trends.
