What can you do in Torrelavit and its Holiday cottages?

Although it is a small municipality, Torrelavit has an important historical heritage. There are several medieval buildings that you will see throughout the area and that are in a very good state of conservation. Some of the best known are the church of Santa Maria de Lavit, the church of Sant Marçal de Terrassola or the church of Sant Josep Obrer. Be sure to try the local cuisine accompanied by some of the wines and cavas that are made in the town's wineries.

Visit the Torrelavit Water Interpretation Center

One of the best-known cultural spaces in Torrelavit is the Centre d'Interpretació de l'Aigua. It has different audiovisuals and historical photographs that show the relationship between the Riudebitlles river and the landscape of Torrelavit. The center is organized in three areas. One is the river and it shows what the water supply was like in the entire municipality. Another is the Camí del Riu, where you discover the landscape of Torrelavit and finally take a trip through the paper industry and the uses that have been made of paper throughout history.

Walk among the vineyards

Agriculture is one of the main economic activities in Torrelavit. All around the area you will find vineyards, quarries and paper mills. There are many signposted hiking routes available that lead into corners of unique beauty. On the other hand, the orography of the land is very good, so you can also do mountain bike routes with the whole family.
