What can you do in Talamanca and its Holiday cottages?

Remains of an Iberian settlement have been found in the area. However, the first documents that refer to the town are from the year 960. Traditions and popular culture are deeply rooted in Talamanca. During the Sant Jaume festival, the town invites all visitors to coca and cava while musical performances are held. On the other hand, during the Summer Festival, sports activities, sardana dances or prank competitions are organized.

Talamanca is very close to one of the most important natural spaces in the region, specifically the Natural Park of Sant Llorenç del Munt i l'Obac. Here you can do many excursions and hiking routes that will allow you to observe a unique fauna and flora. If you like cycling, there are also many paths suitable for mountain biking.

Visit its historical heritage

Walking around the streets of Talamanca you will be able to see elements and buildings of great historical interest. The church of Santa Maria stands out, a construction of the end of the 12th century in the Romanesque style. The castle is a must-see. It appears documented in the year 967. It was destroyed after the War of Succession and what is there now is a reconstruction of the 18th century. Precisely in the Interpretation Center of the Battle of Talamanca you can see an exhibition about the chronicles of the time. If you approach Plaça de la Creu, you will find a viewpoint from which you can enjoy exceptional views.
