What can you do in Sidamon and its Holiday cottages?

After the reconquest by the Christians, Sidamon passed into the hands of the Templars in 1150. Subsequently, in 1318 it passed into the hands of the Hospitallers. Until 1988 it belonged to Segrià. In the center of the town there are shops and restaurants where you can try typical dishes of the region such as snails in a tin, farmer's casserole or orelletes, a sweet made with eggs, flour, anise and muscat .

Take a trip to La Pineda

If you are traveling with the family, there is a place in Sidamon that has a recreation area called the Pineda. Here you will find a space where you can make barbecues. From here you can go to Fita Alta, a peak from which you can enjoy magnificent views of the plain of Urgell.

Visit the parish church of Sant Bartomeu and the Tossal de les Tenalles

In the center of Sidamon is the parish church of Sant Bartomeu. This construction was built in the 18th century on top of the old castle. Its building has a single nave and the facade is quite austere with very little ornamentation. On the outskirts of Sidamon is Tossal de les Tenalles. It is an archaeological station that was excavated in 1915. During the excavations, vestiges of a Roman necropolis were found.
