In different parts of the territory of Santpedor, remains of human populations have been found that come from the Bronze and Iron Ages. Much of the municipal area is devoted to agricultural fields. It is worth visiting the town during the Sant Antoni Festival and the Sant Miquel Fair, an event that is organized in the medieval quarter and where you will see natural and ecological products.
Very close to Santpedor are the Bòbila wetlands. It is a flood zone in which fauna and vegetation typical of an aquatic ecosystem coexist. The origin of the wetlands comes from the extraction of clay by an ancient mill that was in this space. This caused the land to subside and groundwater to surface. If you like ornithology, there are spaces from where you can make ornithological observations.
The historic center of Santpedor has narrow and irregular streets as well as Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance architectural elements. The walled enclosure is from the 14th century and in the Plaça Gran is the sculpture of one of Santpedor's best-known citizens, Isidre Lluçà i Casanoves. You must also see the church of Sant Pere d'Or, a building of Romanesque origin that preserves an alabaster image of Sant Miquel inside.
