Sant Llorenç d'Hortons has a unique landscape. On the one hand, it is crossed by different streams and creeks that allow you to take walks in a fluvial environment. On the other hand, much of the territory is full of vine crops. From the center of the town, many paths lead into lush forests and reach neighboring towns. You also have many mountain bike routes that you can do with the family.
Sant Llorenç d'Hortons has deep-rooted traditions and popular culture. Many events are held throughout the year that are worth seeing and experiencing. One of the most well-known parties is the Festa Major Petita, which is dedicated to Sant Sebastià and where dances, popular meals and activities for the rogue are organized. Other events that are also relevant are the Rose Festival, the Sardanista Gathering Petunias and gladioli or the giant gathering.
Sant Llorenç d'Hortons was part of the Gelida castle. Around the whole term you will see a set of medieval farmhouses that certify its rural past. One of the best-known farmhouses is Casa Vella. It is a construction of the 13th century that was used by vineyard workers due to the power of the wine industry in the area. Other farmhouses you will see were built in the 16th and 17th centuries and were later renovated.
