What can you do in Riudoms and its Holiday cottages?

Neolithic remains from the Bronze Age have been found near the Maspujols stream. There are also remains of an ancient Iberian town dating from the 4th century BC. Many of the ceramics and mosaics from these settlements are on display in the Municipal Historical Museum.

Antoni Gaudí spent part of his life in Riudoms. In his Pairal house you can see exhibitions and a whole series of objects that aim to spread the work of the architect.

Visit the Gaudí manor house

One of the most emblematic buildings in Riudoms is Gaudí's manor house. Until 1925 it was occupied by members of the Gaudí family. Later, it was transferred to the Archbishopric of Tarragona. In 2000 it became the property of the Riudoms City Council. The building has three floors and an attic. On the ground floor you can see the boiler workshop where Gaudí's grandfather worked. On the other floors there is a photography exhibition and a screening room.

Popular culture is deeply rooted in Riudoms. Numerous festivals are organized throughout the year that have a great tourist attraction. One of the most important is the summer festival. It starts on July 25 and lasts all week. Afterwards, the Hazelnut Fair is held. An agricultural event where farmers from all over the region and other companies in the sector participate.
