The monastery castle of Sant Miquel d'Escornalbou is a religious building that dates back to 1153 and was bought by the diplomat Eduard Toda in 1911. Throughout its history, the monastery has been inhabited by Augustinian monks and franciscans One of the oldest parts of the building is the Romanesque church of Sant Miquel, the cloister and the chapter house.

Eduard Toda was in charge of restoring the castle and gathering an important collection of artistic pieces and a library with a documentary fund of great cultural value.

One of the most important natural spaces in Riudecanyes is the Glaneres park where you can see a large number of oak trees. Inside the park you will find several hiking routes that you can do both on foot and by bike.
