Remains of settlements from the Bronze Age have been found. Until 1716, the village belonged to the vegueria de Cerdanya. Throughout the year you can do all kinds of activities. In winter it is perfect for snow sports. During the rest of the year you can do a multitude of routes. If you like to look for mushrooms, during the autumn the forests of the term are filled with different types of mushrooms that attract many mushroom pickers.

Visit its Romanesque heritage

Prats i Sansor has a group of chapels and churches that have great historical value. It is worth seeing the church of Sant Salvador, a Romanesque building that stands out for its lateral buttresses. Although it is in a poor state of preservation, the hermitage of Sant Miquel is a Romanesque building that still maintains the portal built with stone blocks. Also of great interest is the Romanesque hermitage of Sant Serni, a building with a very majestic main facade.

Practice cycling

Much of the topography of Prats i Sansor is not very rugged. This allows you to make many excursions both on foot and by mountain bike and enjoy the agricultural landscape of the town. We recommend that you take a trip to the old Prats mill, a place full of meadows and leafy pastures.
