What can you do in Polinyà and its Holiday cottages?

Although Polinyà has had a strong industrial development in the 60s and 70s, it still maintains certain vestiges of its agricultural past such as the cultivation of potatoes, hook beans or melons. From the center of the municipality , several paths lead into the agricultural fields and allow you to enjoy a unique rural landscape.

One of the most important religious buildings in Polinyà is the church of Sant Salvador. It was built in the middle of the 11th century and throughout its history it has undergone several reforms. However, it still retains a good part of its old Romanesque structure such as the nave with a single nave or the bell tower with a square base. On its walls you can see the remains of the Romanesque mural paintings that were transferred to the Diocesan Museum of Barcelona during the first part of the 20th century.

Take a hiking route

Polinyà is surrounded by forests and agricultural areas. Throughout its territory you will find many paths and trails that you can do both on foot and by bike. One of the most well-known itineraries is the one that runs from Polinyà to Sentmenat. One of the main attractions of these routes is that you will discover old manor houses that still develop their agricultural activity. On the other hand, you can enjoy good views of La Mola, Montseny or Puig de la Creu.
