What can you do in la Sentiu de Sió and its Holiday cottages?

La Sentiu de Sió is made up of four population centers. Specifically, they are Sentiu, Sant Jordi de Muller, Tossal de les Forques and Sant Miquel. In the 19th century it was integrated into Bellcaire d'Urgell until later, in the 19th century, it regained its independence. If you approach through the Tossal de les Forques, you can see some trenches that were built by Franco's troops during the Spanish Civil War. Very close, an Iberian settlement and a medieval necropolis have been found.

Visit its architectural heritage

Although it is a small municipality, la Sentiu de Sió has buildings and monuments of great interest. If you go around the old town you will see the remains of the castle. Very close by is the church of Sant Miquel, a building that was built in the 18th century. Its style combines neoclassical and baroque elements. In Sant Jordi de Muller you will find a church that imitates the Romanesque style that was built in 1925.

La Sentiu de Sió has places of great scenic interest. From the center of the town there are many paths and trails that go through lush forests and reach the neighboring towns. We recommend that you visit the Sió river bed, a fluvial space that stands out for having great environmental value.
