The first written documents in which la Molsosa appears are from the 11th century. The main economic activity of the town is agriculture with a clear predominance of cereal cultivation. Visit the church of Santa Maria and Sant Ponç de Prades

La Molsosa has a remarkable religious architectural heritage. On the one hand, you can visit the two churches of Santa Maria. One is the old one and the other is the new one. The oldest was built in the 11th century and all that remains is its nave and an apse. The new one was built between 1925 and 1952 and has a neo-Romanesque style. Inside it houses altarpieces that belonged to the old building and are dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary, Assumpta and Sant Isidre. Another relevant building is the church of Sant Ponç which dates from the 17th century and houses three Romanesque altarpieces.

The topography of La Molsosa is flat, which makes it perfect for long walks in the middle of nature. From the center of the town there are many paths and trails that go through its entire territory and from which you can enjoy unique fauna and flora. If you want to practice mountaineering, there are also peaks from where you can enjoy magnificent views.
