What can you do in Juneda and its Holiday cottages?

Remains of Iberians, Romans and Muslims have been found in the territory of Juneda. If you visit the Archaeological and Ethnological Museum you will see an old oil mill from the 19th century and archaeological remains of the village of Minferri.

La Banketa Park, a unique green space

In Juneda there are green areas of great interest. One of the most well-known is the Parque de la Banqueta. In this place you will find recreation areas and paths for hiking or cycling. On the other hand, there is flora and fauna typical of riverside areas and corners that invite you to enjoy moments of rest.

Stroll through Vila Closa

Vila Closa is a set of medieval streets that is part of the town's historical heritage. In the highest part you will find the ice well. It is a 15th century building that was used to store winter snow and ice, which allowed food to be kept in good condition when the heat arrived. Very close to the well is Plaça de les Tres Creus, from where you can enjoy exceptional views of the plain of Urgell. You should also visit the parish church of the Transfiguration of the Lord, a Baroque-style building with a large bell tower.
