What can you do in Espot and its Holiday cottages?

The first written documents that refer to Espot are from the year 839. During part of its history it belonged to the Dukes of Cardona and the Marquises of Pallars. Espot is well known for the Super Espot ski resort, where you can do all kinds of activities with the snow. During the rest of the year you can do other adventure sports such as rafting, canoeing, hiking or canyoning among others

Discover lakes of glacial origin

From Espot you can access the Aigüestortes and Sant Maurici National Park, which allows you to enjoy unique natural places. On one side you will see mountains like the Pui de Linyà or the enchanted ones. On the other hand, there are more than twenty lakes of glacial origin. We recommend that you visit the Ratera or Amitges lakes, with crystal-clear waters that will surely captivate you.

A unique historical heritage

Espot is divided into two cores. On the left you will find Espot Solau and on the right Espot Obago. One of the main attractions of the town is that it maintains much of its architectural heritage. In the middle of the village there is a medieval watchtower. There are also two Romanesque style bridges, one over the Escrita river and the other over the Torrassa. Don't forget to see the parish church of Santa Llogaia, which dates back to 839.
