Sorry, but we don't have any accommodation near Es Bòrdes
In the past, Es Bòrdes was called Les Bordes de Castell-leó. This is due to the presence of the medieval castle of León in the area. Walking around the town you can see the enclave of Uelhs deth Joeu. It is a waterfall with water coming from the Aneto glacier and which flows into the Garona river. You must also visit the fountain fir, a hundred-year-old monumental fir that is more than 21 meters high.
The natural environment of Es Bòrdes makes it possible to do many hiking and mountain biking routes and thus be able to enjoy unique flora and fauna. We recommend that you take the route that goes to Artiga de Lin. Its difficulty is very low, so it can be done with the family. You will be able to see magnificent views of peaks and extensive pastures.
Es Bòrdes stands out for having an important historical heritage throughout its territory. One of the most important constructions is that of La Mair de Diu deth Rosèr. It was built in 1806 and inside it has the slab of a 15th century sarcophagus. The church of Sant Martí d'Arró is also very relevant. It dates from the 11th century and has a Romanesque style. Don't forget to visit the church of Sant Roc, where sculptures from the 17th century that are polychrome are still preserved.
