Stroll through its historic center

El Pla del Penedès has an important historical heritage. The streets of its historic center are narrow, steep and still retain many elements from the medieval era. On the one hand, in Carrer Sant Jordi you will see the remains of the entrance gate of the old town. On the other hand, there are streets where you will find facades in a marked modernist style. Be sure to visit the church of Santa Maria, a Romanesque building with a single nave that is documented from the year 1080 and that throughout its history has been modified in the 16th and 19th centuries.
