The first written documents in which the town is mentioned are from the year 1031. If you like long-distance roads, some section of the GR-170 passes through Biosca. Visit its medieval core

Biosca is a town with a long historical tradition. Walking around the streets of the historic center you will see that it still retains its medieval structure. One of the most relevant buildings is the church of Santa Maria, a neoclassical building. Also noteworthy are a group of stone houses such as that of Monsignor Ramon, a Baroque-style building that was the former rectory. Some sections of the wall and the remains of the old Romanesque chapel remain from the old castle.
