There is also a legend in which it is said that the town housed a giant called Mandrónius, a character who fought against the Romans when they wanted to invade the valley. Visit the church of Sant Pèir de Betlan

One of the most important buildings in Betlan is the church of Sant Pèir. It is a Romanesque-style building with a single nave that preserves a baptismal font from the 13th century and a carving of the Virgin of the Snows. Throughout its history it has been reformed several times. One of the most important reforms took place between the 16th and 18th centuries when the side chapels were built.
