What can you do in Bellpuig and its Holiday cottages?

The beginnings of Bellpuig go back to the year 1139 when the barony of the same name was created. In the highest part of the municipality is the Bellpuig castle. A construction from the year 1079 that is still standing. Its facade and a covered room with a barrel vault stand out. We also recommend that you visit the Franciscan convent of Sant Bartomeu, where you can see two Gothic cloisters with Renaissance elements.

Visit the church of Sant Nicolau

In the historic center of Bellpuig you can see several buildings that have great relevance. One of the most prominent is the parish church of Sant Nicolau, a building in which the tomb of Ramon Folch de Cardona, one of the town's best-known historical figures, is preserved. The work is sculpted in white Carrara marble. In the same church you will also find frescoes by Jaume Minguell, which are from the beginning of the 19th century.

Bellpuig is a town where you can do many sports activities. It has a permanent motocross circuit where 125cc World Championships have been held and where you can practice motorcycling. If you want to experience extreme sensations, there is a school where paragliding, paramotor or hang-gliding courses are organized.
