The first written documents that refer to Begós are from the year 1278. Strolling through its historic center you will be able to see houses that still maintain their old medieval appearance. The presence of Romanesque buildings in the town is also considerable. Visit the church of Sant Roc

One of the most popular churches in the Vall d'Aran is the church of Sant Roc. It is a Romanesque building that has a square tower. The main nave is divided into three sections. During the 14th century it was reformed and two side chapels were added, which caused it to take the shape of a Greek cross. Inside it still preserves a baptismal font of Romanesque origin and polychrome sculptures dating from the 17th century.
