Sorry, but we don't have any accommodation near Bagergue
The first written references to Bagergue are from the beginning of the 14th century. Long-distance trails pass through the center of the town, such as the GR 211 which reaches Baquèira - Beret via Salardú. Don't forget to try the local gastronomy where you will find typical Aranese dishes.
The historical heritage of Bagergue stands out for being in a good state of conservation. Walking through its cobbled and narrow streets you will have the feeling that you are traveling back in time. One of the most important buildings is the church of Sant Feliu. It dates from the 13th century, although it was reformed in the 15th century. Its style is Romanesque although a Gothic period Christ is preserved inside. You must also visit the Eth Corrau Museum. More than 2,000 pieces and utensils used by the ancient villagers are exhibited in its collection.
The mountain landscape of Bagergue is of great beauty. From the center of the town, many paths lead into its forests and allow you to see unique places. Lakes Liat, Montoliu and Mauberme are a must-see. Their origin is glacial and they have crystal clear waters. In its vicinity you will find several peaks that you can climb and from which you will enjoy magnificent views.
