Casa Nova de Ferrando is a farmhouse dating from 1872, restored according to the original style and equipped with all amenities. Located in the village of Fornells, amid a rural setting close to the Gavarres mountainside and overlooking the Pyrenees. With a large garden surrounded by cypresses, it’s an ideal place to enjoy the tranquillity with family or friends.

The house can accommodate up to 22 people and has 9 suite bedrooms. On the ground floor, there is a large hall, a reading lounge and kitchen with access to a large room with wooden roof where a long table is waiting for you to enjoy your meal. On the other side, there is a living room with fireplace, TV, stereo,large windows and exit to the garden. On the same floor, there is also a bathroom, a living room with a majestic billiards in the middle and a suite with a toilet and a bathtub. The entire house has central heating.

On the first floor, there is a lounge that distributes six double bedrooms and one twin. On the second floor, there is a manor suite overlooking the village of Fornells and the mountains, and a living room where 2 more people can sleep with a large window from where you see a forest of cypresses.

The exterior of the house is divided into three distinct spacious areas. On one side, there is the entrance area with a large green esplanade, barbecue, pool table, table football and table tennis. On the other side, there is the pool area and the last part of the garden hides a “Zen” style treasure with a dry sauna and a jacuzzi (it works with tokens of 5 € for 2 hours), where you can relax while listening to the birds humming. The house also has large parking space.

The house is very beautiful and has a spectacular garden. The kitchen and dining room are very comfortable, and all the rooms have their own bathroom. However, the extra beds are not comfortable at all, they need to be replaced. We had problems with the jacuzzi, which was not working properly, we notified the owner and she fixed it immediately, although we could not use it on Saturday.

I am glad to know that you enjoyed these spaces during your stay. Regarding the additional beds, I would like to comment that there are currently three. One is an IKEA single bed that is less than a year old, measuring 80 × 188 cm. The second is a two-piece sofa bed that opens up to 150 × 180 cm with JYSK mattresses, and the third is a foldable metal frame type puff that opens up to 80 × 180 cm. In addition, at the house, I have three extra IKEA cold foam mattresses that can be put on top to make them more comfortable and turn them into a more complete bed, especially if teenagers are going to sleep on them or for occasional stays. In any case, I very much appreciate your comment as it helps me to continue improving. Regarding the jacuzzi, as you warned me, that day it was blocked with an error and the temperature had stayed at 30 °C. This kind of blockage can happen when it detects an incident, for example, if the water stays below the jets for too long or if it receives two orders at once. I went by the next morning to reset it: I cut the power, emptied it, cleaned the filter, and refilled and programmed it. Fortunately, after this process, it worked correctly again. Pleasant stay

The house is spectacular. It's spacious and has everything, in addition to being able to enjoy the jacuzzi in the middle of nature, it's a strong point. We missed basic things like more toilet paper, kitchen paper, dishwasher tablets, but when we mentioned it to the hostess, she quickly got it to us. She was always attentive to any problem.
