Casa Dorotea is a 17th century farmhouse fully restored and equipped with the comforts to live in a quiet and isolated environment. Its location in
Canet d'Adri, in the middle of the Llémena Valley, is ideal for outdoor sports, surrounded by oak groves under the Rocacorba peak.
The city of Girona is 20 minutes away and the best beaches of the Costa Brava are less than an hour away. The owners live in a part of the estate, with independent access to preserve maximum privacy for the guests.
The farmhouse is isolated and consists of two main buildings and a garden of more than 1,000 square meters. On the ground floor of the main house there is a living room with a large sofa and direct access to the garden. From this space you can access the
kitchen area, modern and equipped, and the dining area with a large designer table and access to a shaded side garden. This same floor has two courtesy toilets, an auxiliary gas kitchen with access to the outside porch and the washing machine room. From the outside, there is access to a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a private shower.
The space that connects the ground floor and first floor of the main farmhouse is special for its light and architecture,
a combination of stone walls, wooden floor, where there is a billiard and play area with direct natural light. On the first floor there are three bedrooms, all with their own bathroom: two bedrooms with a double bed and a quadruple bedroom with a double bed and two single beds. On this floor there is also a
large living room with sofas, TV, fireplace and access to a side terrace that communicates with the outside porch and the garden.
The main farmhouse has underfloor heating in all rooms and free Wi-Fi.
In front of the main farmhouse is the barn, fully restored, with three bedrooms each with its own bathroom: a large double bedroom with large windows and private terrace and two triple bedrooms with a double bed and a single bed with direct access to the outdoor swimming pool.
The three bedrooms in the hayloft have air conditioning. In the house, you will find 4 standing fans for the bedrooms that do not have air conditioning.
The exterior of Casa Dorotea has the charm and spirit to enjoy the best stay with friends and family. In the garden of the house, between the farmhouse and the barn, there is the barbecue, the porch with a large wooden table for the whole group, a small pool to cool off and a small pond with turtles. In the large part of the garden, there is an
18-metre swimming pool overlooking the large extension of the estate's garden, ideal for strolling and relaxing.
