Can Cornellà is an
isolated countryhouse restored in detail and decorated with great taste, preserving the essence of the typical Catalan house but with all the comforts. It is located in La Selva region, an ideal place to visit the sea, the mountains or the cities of
Girona or Barcelona. This farmhouse is surrounded by forest, fields and nature to enjoy during your stay. If you are an airplanes fan, you will love it!
The house is very close to Girona Airport and has the runway in front, so you can see from a privileged place how the planes take off.Just entering the house an impressive room with a piano at the end will welcome you. On the same ground floor you will find two living rooms, one with sofas and TV and the other with a large fireplace where
the original style has been preserved, there is also the dining room with a large wooden table so you can eat together, and a small bathroom. Right next door we find the fully equipped kitchen, and finally, we find a magnificent
room with jacuzzi and full bathroom with direct access to the garden. On the same floor there are two more bathrooms, one of them with washing machine. The ground floor of the house is wheelchair accessible, and the outdoor areas are accessible, but there are some steps and stony areas.
The first floor is divided into two parts, one accessed from the dining room and the other from
the piano room at the entrance. In the first part, you will discover
2 bedrooms. The first one is a double bedroom with a double bed and another one is a quadruple bedroom with a double bed and two singles, both bedrooms share a bathroom. When we access the other part of the first floor, we have a large room with two sofas that gives us access to
5 bedrooms, and we will find a sixth door that will guide us up the stairs to access to the attic. Among this five bedrooms, there are three double bedrooms, one triple bedroom with a double bed and a single bed and a quadruple bedroom with a double bed and two single beds. In the attic is where a very large
last double bedroom with a terrace that gives us magnificent views of the area is placed.
Outside you will find everything you need
to experience an enjoyable stay: a large swimming pool with sun loungers and next to it a table with chairs and a room with billiards, table football and a refrigerator. Right in front of the house we find a large outdoor area with wooden tables and hammocks, and inside what was once the barn, a table with a capacity for twelve people. At a higher level of the garden you will find the
barbecue with a large table and a porch to cover us from the sun and rain. For entertainment there is
a football pitch, volleyball and a children's playground.
