1. The Trabucador beach
If there is an iconic image of the Delta, it's this one. The Trabucador is a narrow strip of sand, almost six kilometers long, that connects the peninsula with the Punta de la Banya. There is only sea on both sides, and the sensation is that of driving or walking in the middle of the water. In two days, you'll be able to discover the Delta at a more leisurely pace: we suggest dedicating the first day to exploring Punta del Fangar, its iconic lighthouse, Riumar, and the estuary, and reserving the second day to visit the lagoon at Encanyissada, strolling through Poblenou del Delta, getting to know the mussel beds in Alfacs Bay and returning to Trabucador as the sun starts to set.
