Casa Oreneta

A house full of character in the heart of l’Empordà

Casa Oreneta is located in the centre of the small village of la Tallada d’Empordà, in a peaceful setting surrounded by the landscape of the Empordà plain, just 20 minutes from the beaches of l’Estartit, l’Escala and Sant Martí d’Empúries. A house with history, fully restored by its owners with great care, patience and love, respecting its original character and taking care of every last detail.

The renovation has preserved many of its original architectural features, such as the stone walls, the Catalan vaulted ceilings found in some rooms, and other fine materials typical of houses from this period. These elements blend with more contemporary touches, such as metal, glass, wood and exposed brick, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you step inside.

On the ground floor, a spacious entrance hall gives access to the different rooms and connects with the upper floors through a spectacular main staircase. On this floor, there is a large living room designed to bring the whole group together, with a fireplace and direct access to the garden. There is also a fully renovated and equipped rustic-style kitchen with modern touches, which preserves a second fireplace and connects to the dining room and a small TV lounge, also with direct access to the outdoors. This floor is completed by a guest toilet and a double bedroom with a private bathroom.

On the first floor there are four bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms: three double bedrooms and one quadruple bedroom. On this same floor there is also a games room with a pool table and table football, ideal for enjoying leisure time inside the house.

On the second floor there are two double bedrooms with private bathrooms and private terraces, from where you can enjoy views of the village and the open landscape of the Empordà plain.

The house is equipped with a fancoil climate control system in all rooms, ensuring comfort all year round.

Outside, the garden invites you to enjoy the calm and outdoor living, with a private swimming pool, barbecue area and a porch with a chill-out space, perfect for relaxing and letting the hours slip by at a leisurely pace.

The house is beautiful, decorated with exquisite taste. The bedrooms are very spacious and each has its own bathroom, and the mattresses are very comfortable. The kitchen is also very large, with all the necessary utensils. Both the dining room and the living room are very pleasant spaces. The garden and pool are also absolutely lovely. This house is ideal for a group of friends, as was the case for us. Communication with the owners was very good and easy. You can park your cars on the same street as the house without any problem. What is the maximum capacity of Casa Oreneta and how is it calculated?

The maximum capacity of Casa Oreneta is 15 people. For your comfort and in compliance with the regulations, the maximum capacity of the house cannot be exceeded in any case.
In this house, children from 2 years old are counted when calculating the maximum capacity of the accommodation. Babies are not counted in Casa Oreneta.

What kind of swimming pool does the house have?

Casa Oreneta has a swimming pool saltwater of 8x3m.

When are the swimming pools opened?

Its outdoor swimming pool is available all year round, even though it is not heated.

Are dogs allowed at Casa Oreneta?

Doubts about the booking, check-in and check-out times

When and how to make the payments for the reservation at Casa Oreneta?

To be able to confirm the reservation, you will need to make a payment of a downpayment of 25% of the total reservation by card, bank transfer or using a bonus or gift check.

Casa Oreneta offers the option of online check-in. You can pay the rest of the outstanding amounts such as the tourist tax, the deposit and the outstanding amount of the house rental in a very easy and convenient way. If you want to go directly to the house without going through our offices, you can check-in online or remotely. A few days before the day of entry (recommended between 3-4 days before), you can access the link in the booking confirmation email to check-in online and in this way, fill in the personal details of the booking holder, sign the house rental contract, attach a photo of the identity document of the reservation holder and make the payment of the outstanding amount of the reservation with a credit or debit card (house rental, tourist tax, deposit).

How can I request the invoice for the stay?

You will be able to request the invoice for your stay at Casa Oreneta during the online check-in process where you will have the option to enter the data you want to appear on the invoice and in this way, when the stay ends , the homeowners will receive an automatic notification to prepare the invoice and they will send it to you.

Please note that this accommodation can legally only issue invoices to individuals. Casa Oreneta cannot issue invoices to companies.

What time can we check in and out of Casa Oreneta?

Check-in time
The check-in time at Casa Oreneta is from 17:00.

This house offers the option to check-in before 17:00 with the early check-in supplement, depending on the details of each booking. During the booking process and in the confirmation email, you will informed whether this option is available for your selected dates.

If the early check-in supplement is not added, check-in time will be from 17:00.

If your stay dates allow it, you can add the early check-in supplement during the booking process or from your private user area up to 24 hours before your arrival date.

The usual check-out time at Casa Oreneta is before 11:00 am.

On Sundays and public holidays, you will automatically be able to enjoy the house until 17:00.

This house offers the option to check-out later than 17:00 with the night check-out supplement, which will allow you to enjoy the house until 21:00, depending on the features of each booking. When making the booking, and also in the confirmation email, we will let you know if this supplement can be contracted for the selected dates.
